Guidance on Risk Assessment has been updated and reissued.
The revised guidance includes several new elements. These are:
The Risk Assessment Checklist now includes a scoring system for generic hazards so that identified risks can be prioritised.
Expanded and updated guidance on controlling the risk of slips, trips and falls.
Guidance on risk control for specific groups of people - directly employed kitchen staff; directly employed cleaning staff; office staff and disabled people.
An annexe summarising the main actions to be taken to comply with the County Council's previously issued Tree Safety Management Policy.
Actions for all Headteachers/Premises Managers
Headteachers and other managers of premises must ensure that they have familiarised themselves with and are working to this revised guidance.
