School Transport Update
We would like to express the County Council's appreciation of your valuable support in distributing 12,000 bus passes to students entering into years 8, 9, 10 and 11 in September. All but two high schools co-operated with the County Council in this new system that has saved £4,000 of public money and we hope that you will be happy to continue doing this in future years.
We would urge the two schools who, for reasons of their own, did not feel that they could assist us this year, to consider planning to do so in future years.
Apart from achieving savings, this system has ensured that pupils received bus passes in good time for the start of the new academic year.
