Support for EAL Children in Reception
Celebrating the EAL child in your Reception classroom: an opportunity not a problem.
We are pleased to announce that the Ethnic Minority Achievement Grant (EMAG) is now available for ALL EAL children of Reception age.
The English Language Support Service can support you in:
Enabling children to access all aspects of the foundation stage Developing a cultural profile of the child by building positive relationships with families and communities Offering practical advice e.g. resources and activities (inside and out) to further develop the enabling environment in order to meet the needs of EAL Assessing the progress of EAL children
