National College Questionnaire for Chairs of Governors or Clerks to Governing Bodies
The National College has asked Norfolk Children's Services to collect and analyse responses to a questionnaire on both Succession Planning and Achieving Equality and Diversity in the Leadership of Schools and Children's Centres. This is to assist the National College with research into the impact of two documents that governing bodies should have received in the last 18 months. It will also help determine future provision for succession planning in the county.
The questionnaire is very simple and should be completed by either the Chair of Governors or the Clerk to the Governing Body and returned to Governor Services by Tuesday 30th November.
The questionnaire does not need to go to the full governing body for discussion, and should only take a few moments to complete.
The responses will help us considerably in ensuring that governing bodies are better supported in managing a very important aspect of their role, so it would be very beneficial for us to receive as many responses as possible.
We would prefer that you complete the form electronically and e-mail it back to us, but you may print it off and return it by Royal Mail if you wish. The questionnaire can be accessed on the Governor Services website at: www.schools.norfolk.gov.uk
