Management Information Sheet
Statutory Consultation on Planned Admission Numbers for the 2012/13 Academic Year
The County Council is responsible for setting the annual Planned Admission Number (PAN) for community and VC schools, in consultation with governing bodies. Voluntary Aided (VA), Foundation schools and Academies are responsible for setting their own PANs in consultation with the County Council.
We are consulting schools electronically via the Norfolk Schools website for the proposed Planned Admission Numbers for the 2012/13 academic year. The consultation will take place between 10th January and 1st March 2011.
Following the consultation, the County Council is required to inform schools of the final PAN set for each primary and secondary school for the 2011/12 academic year, which we will do during April. PAN's are subsequently published in the Parents' Guide issued for the relevant academic year. Planned Admission Numbers are only set for primary and secondary schools, this consultation does not therefore include special or nursery schools.

The consultation can be accessed via the Norfolk Schools Website.
