Redeployment Opportunities
You will be very aware of the difficulties many schools continue to face in balancing their budgets, HR Employee Relations have had a direct involvement in a significant number of adjustment situations since January 2011. As a result of some of these adjustments, we are continuing to seek possible redeployment opportunities for both a number of teachers and support staff.
Previous feedback from Headteachers has indicated that schools would prefer us not to send them redeployment application forms for individual redeployees, rather that we give you the opportunity at this stage of the term to inform us of any vacancies you may have for September 2011.
Therefore we ask that you email us at hrers@norfolk.gov.uk if you have any unfilled vacancies in your school.
This information will allow us to only send details of potential redeployees to schools who are in a recruitment situation.
We would like to thank you for your support on this matter and hope that through this process we can minimise the number of redundancies by identifying suitable alternative employment.
