Gift Aid Registration of School Accounts
Following recent changes to HMRC regulations schools can no longer be registered for charitable status.
As a result, gift aid can not be claimed on donations paid in to the school fund account.
PTA and Friends can be registered for charitable status, allowing them to claim gift aid on qualifying donations.
