Checking 2011 End of Key Stage Assessments - KS2, KS1 and EYFSP

Each new academic year we ask schools to check the end of key stage results that we hold centrally in the Local Authority. Any amendments that we are notified of are implemented as appropriate and then the data is used in KeyData on the "My School" website in October.

This year we have been able to provide some provisional reports for KS1 and KS2 even earlier.
Data submitted by 6th July for KS1 and KS2 Teacher Assessments, and KS2 Test results returned from QCDA on 5th July will be uploaded to the "More Information" area of KeyData by Monday 11th July.

We highly recommend that you check these reports at the earliest possible opportunity, in particular any KS1 data, because the first publication of RAISEonline will use these figures. Unexpected errors in RAISEonline can be avoided by checking KS1 results and reporting any amendments to us before the end of the Summer Term. We can send KS1 amendments to DfE up to Monday 25th July.

EYFSP reports will be made available on the "My School" website in mid-August, ready for you to check in September.

In summary, these reports will enable you to:

(1) Check that the results held by the LA and the DFE are correct
(2) See your Average Point Scores
(3) Ensure that your figures are correct for the update of KeyData and IPSS in October.

To access these provisional reports, go to:
> Norfolk Schools website
> Select "My School", enter your DFE number and password and click "Log in"
> Scroll down the "commonly used items" and select "KeyData"
> Select the "Click here for More Information" link at the top of the page
> Select "Attainment (provisional data for checking)"
> Click on the pdf icon under "Download" against the appropriate key stage.

If you find errors in your report please contact Dom Mingaye by email at dom.mingaye@norfolk.gov.uk, or by phone to Dom on 01603 222984, as soon as possible, but at the very latest by Friday 16th September.

May we stress the importance of this checking exercise:
  • For EYFSP and KS1: we will pass on any amendments to DFE for you
  • For KS2: please be aware that the LA will not be informed by the QCDA of any amendments to results, or changes in pupil cohorts. If schools do not report changes to us their performance information published on the "My School" website in October will be inaccurate.

  • Many thanks, in advance, for your help with this checking process.
