Admissions Team Update September 2011
Due to the very high volume of telephone calls resulting from the coordination of in year admissions could I remind schools to please ensure that individual Admission Officers telephone numbers are not given out to parents. Parents who require application forms or advice on admissions should only be given the Customer Service Centre telephone number 0344 800 8020 or email admissions@norfolk.gov.uk
Schools should continue to contact their usual Admissions contact for advice. If you don't know who your Admissions contact is please contact Hayley Goodson on 01603 224226.
As part of Norfolk's budget reductions the Admissions Team will not be sending hard copies of the Parents Guide booklets to parents for either the secondary transfer or the admission to Reception class admission rounds. Parents can access the booklets on the Norfolk County Council website and we will send out hard copies of the website information on request. We have already successfully trialled this approach for the last two years as part of the transfer to junior school admission round. We will continue to send a hard copies of the booklet to each school.
