Free Autumn 2011 Roadshows for help with School and Pupil Census and School Workforce Census Returns

These have proved popular in the past and have been very useful. Therefore we have arranged sessions for this year that will be aimed specifically at school secretaries and admin staff who process the census returns. The venues, timings and agenda are detailed below. On each day there are two identical sessions, morning and afternoon, to accommodate school staff availability. There is no charge to the school for these sessions.

The venues are:

West Norfolk PDC, King's Lynn 19th September 2011
Broom Hall Country Hotel, Watton 21st September 2011
The Imperial Hotel, Great Yarmouth 22nd September 2011
Holt Hall 27th September 2011
George Hotel, Norwich 28th September 2011
George Hotel, Norwich 30th September 2011

The agenda is:

The main sections to be covered will be the School & Pupil Census and the Workforce Census returns. There are a number of changes coming up that schools need to be prepared for. There are also items on Learning Aims and Unique Pupil Numbers (UPNs) as these are problem areas. As with previous data events these are not specific to a particular schools' Management Information System and will not deal with software related problems.

We have limited the sessions to 30 attendees to enable less formal sharing of experiences. To book a place please email the Information & Intelligence Team as soon as possible with the venue and names of attendees noting there is a maximum of two delegates per school on a first come, first served basis which we will confirm and send further details. (If you wish to have more than two attendees please let us know and, if there are spaces available nearer the date, we will include them and let you know.) Past events held have been well received and we hope these will be equally as valuable to schools.
