National Scholarship Scheme to Support Professional Development 2011-12
The DfE have introduced the National Scholarship Scheme which enables those with Qualified Teacher Status to apply for a maximum of £3,500 in order to engage in Master level professional development.
The first rounds of applications are for those teachers wishing to undertake training in Special Educational Needs, Maths, English or Science. Applications are encouraged from any Teacher (with QTS) working in a maintained or non maintained school, (mainstream, special, PRU, Academy or Free) or those employed by the Local Authority as a peripatetic teacher.
