Statutory School Workforce Census - Autumn 2011
This is a reminder that the DfE requires all schools to undertake the Statutory School Workforce Census return on the 3rd November 2011.
Please try to ensure that your School Workforce Census file reaches the Information and Research Centre at County Hall by the 11th November 2011. We have extended this deadline due to the delay in the issue of the HR data. If you experience any problems in meeting this deadline please let us know.
Those of you on e1 will need to make your returns available for us to collect; those of you using other MI systems (including SIMS) will need to send your files via Anycomms or s2s. If using Anycomms, you will need to copy the census file on its own straight into the Anycomms outbox before dialing up. Ensure you receive confirmation that the file was sent. The filename should be in the format 926XXXX_SW3_926LL11 (where XXXX is your school DfE number) and should have an xml extension on the end.

HR Data
The HR data files were finally sent out via Anycomms on the 19th October 2011. Your file will be named XXXX_HR_Data. This contains staff contract data for your school from Children's Services HR as at the 19th September 2011 payroll and will include recent contract changes and pay increments. Any changes since that date will not be reflected in the data and you will need to contact your HR contact if you require any further information.
Unfortunately the issues with the previous macro could not been resolved, so my colleagues and I have managed to create one for you. You can download this from the School Workforce Census pages on the Norfolk Schools website or by clicking here.
