Towards Excellence in Norfolk Schools (5-19)
The Towards Excellence in Norfolk Schools (5-19) Booklet describes how Norfolk County Council Children’s Services and in particular its Educational Achievement, Improvement, Leadership and Governance team promotes school improvement following the publication of the White Paper “The Importance of Teaching†and the subsequent Education Bill and Act. It is about eradicating underperformance and driving up educational standards, so that children and young people are ready and able to extend their learning, seize opportunity, exercise choice and make the most of life’s chances.
Distribution of the booklets, each school will receive two copies via the schools’ post, one for the Headteacher and senior leadership team, and one for the Governing Body.
