School Fund Accounts Audit
As required by Norfolk's Scheme for Financing Schools all schools maintaining school fund accounts must submit them for annual audit.
The School's Finance Team provides an auditing service to schools. Schools requiring this service must submit their accounts to the School's Finance Team following completion of their year end procedures. Accounts must be submitted, audited, approved by Governors and submitted to the LA within 90 days of the school fund year end date.
The School's Finance Team will audit the accounts within 20 days of receipt of all required documentation and email a draft report to the Headteacher. The school will have a total of 5 working days to raise any queries or disputes regarding the audit opinion before a final report is emailed to the school. The final report must be presented to the governing body along with any required action plan. The signed audited accounts should then be submitted to the LA.
