Open Schools East Launch
We are delighted to provide schools in the Eastern Region with a new way to share effective and innovative practice.
Open Schools East provides details of effective practice to facilitate school to school support. Schools in Cambridgeshire, Central Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk have provided case studies of their good school improvement practice, detailing impact and where possible external accreditation. These case studies will provide opportunities for school leaders and others to learn with and from each other through focused visits across the East.
The central feature of this project is an interactive website, which not only allows colleagues to find case studies, but also to book focused visits for professional development.
Schools featured on this site have kindly agreed to open their doors to other colleagues in the region to showcase their practice. This programme is being launched with Open Schools East Fortnight (25th June - 6th July 2012) to facilitate first hand professional development and sharing of good practice. To book a visit, find a case study using the search facility and select your preferred date.
There is a range of schools covering all phases of education and different types of settings represented on this site. When considering a visit you may wish to confirm school characteristics, so that the context meets your requirements.
