Management Information Sheet
School Workforce Census statutory return deadline
This is a reminder to all schools to complete the Statutory School Workforce Census return. Census day was the 6th November 2012 and schools were asked to return their files by the close of play on the 9th November 2012.
If you experience any problems in meeting this deadline please let us know if you haven't done so already. Many thanks to those of you that have already sent your files.
Those of you on e1 will need to make your returns available for us to collect; those of you using other MI systems (including SIMS) will need to send your files via Anycomms or s2s. If using Anycomms, you will need to copy the census file on its own straight into the Anycomms outbox before dialing up. Ensure you receive confirmation that the file was sent. The filename should be in the format 926XXXX_SW3_926LL12 (where XXXX is your school DfE number) and should have an xml extension on the end. Do not leave the whole census folder in your outbox - the file will not send.
What can I do now?
If you haven't done so already, please see the 'Preparations for the School Workforce Census on the 6th November 2012' on the School Workforce Census pages of the Norfolk Schools website.
HR Data
The HR data files were sent out via Anycomms on the 17th October 2012. The files were named XXXX_HR_Data (where XXXX is the DfE number for your school). This contains staff contract data for your school from Children's Services HR as at the October 2012 payroll and included recent contract changes and pay increments. Any changes since that date would not be reflected in the data and you would need to contact HR Direct if you require any further information. Further details can be found here.
