GUIDANCE FOR SCHOOLS: Identification of Children at Risk of Sexual Exploitation (March 2013)
GUIDANCE FOR SCHOOLS: Identification of Children at Risk of Sexual Exploitation (March 2013)
In response to the National Action Plan for tackling child sexual exploitation, a sub-group of the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Board has been established to bring together local agencies in order look at ways to protect children in Norfolk from this largely hidden form of child abuse.
Schools are well placed to prevent, identify and respond to children at risk of sexual exploitation. The attached guidance aims to raise the awareness of child sexual exploitation in order to support education professionals identify and respond appropriately to pupils at risk. It is important that you share this guidance with all staff and volunteers. Please see attached document for information on training run by the NSCB which looks specifically at this issue.
