Two fixed term arrangements for senior managers in the Education Strategy and Commissioning section have been extended in order to provide continuity over the coming months.

Paul Hoey, acting Head of Norfolk Integrated Education Advisory Services (NIEAS), and Paul Dunning, Lead Adviser, Education Strategy and Partnership Development team, will both continue in their current roles until March 2014.

Part of our approach to providing 'A Good School for Every Norfolk Learner' is to enable schools that are graded 'satisfactory' or 'requires improvement' to move to 'good'. This will be through specific challenge and support and brokerage of a range of appropriate resources. This scheme - ' Norfolk to Good and Great' - will be undertaken on a traded basis through NIEAS and will be led by a senior school leader. Denise Walker, Principal at Iceni all through Academy, has been appointed to this role that she will assume on 1 September for a two-year period.
