Changing price for occupational health services
In recent years charges made to schools for Occupational Health have been based on the individual cost per assessment/consultation. In addition to this charge there is a Management Fee of approximately 25% charged for administering the contract. This additional amount has been omitted from the charges to schools since the start of the contract and as a result has had to be borne from School Contingency at year end.
The full cost of Occupational Health should be borne by the schools using the service and therefore an additional 25% will be included in all charges for 2013/14. The Management Fee is charged to Children's Services in March each year and should this vary from 25% School Finance will make an adjustment at the end of the year to refund or charge any differences.
