Return of Results for 2013 KS2 National Curriculum Tests - Reminders
Hard copy papers for L3-5 reading and mathematics have now begun to be returned to schools although level thresholds will not be published until 9 July and so it will not be possible to determine levels until the electronic publication of final results on that date.
The results to be published on 9 July consist of potentially 7 individual scores and there will be NO overall level for English:
L3-5 Mathematics
L3-5 Reading
L3-5 GPS
LW-8 Writing (teacher assessed)
L6 Mathematics
L6 Reading
L6 GPS
Hard copies of the Levels 3-5 English grammar, punctuation and spelling test scripts or Level 6 test scripts will not be returned to schools as these were cut and scanned for on-screen marking. Schools will be able to view and download images of the marked test scripts from 9 July. The websites below will also give a summary of the marks awarded for each question.
- Levels 3-5 English grammar, punctuation and spelling test scripts -
Pupil results section of the NCA tools website - Level 6 test scripts - Level 6 test script return website
Schools' usernames and passwords for the Level 6 test script return website will be circulated by STA in the assessment update to be sent in the week beginning 8 July.
A full review service is available as usual from STA - reviews are of either clerical errors or of the entire pupil work for that subject - eg both Paper 1 and Paper 2 for the L6 mathematics test or both spelling and short answer questions for the GPS test. Applications must be made by 19 July - see full details of the system and how to apply on this link: www.education.gov.uk/schools/teachingandlearning/assessment/keystage2/pupil/b00210121/marking-reviews/review-overview.
All test materials and mark schemes are currently available to download from the STA orderline.
