Always wondered what it would be like to teach in a high school in Norfolk?

Then join our three-day course, have all your questions answered and gain a real insight into the exciting and rewarding world of teaching 11-19 year olds.

Secondary Taste of Teaching Course
22 - 24 October 2013

Two tutored days covering:

  • The role of the teacher, necessary skills and attributes
  • Teaching, learning and differentiation
  • Wider school issues such as behaviour management
  • Different routes into teaching

Here, you'll also be able to talk to Newly Qualified Teachers and local teacher training providers.


A one-day placement in a local high school to:

  • See teaching in action
  • Talk openly with teachers

Eligibility

You should be either a graduate with a degree relevant to the subject you would like to teach, or be about to complete your degree and have not already applied for a teacher training place.

You'll also need:

  • GCSE in both Maths and English at Grade C or above
