Due to recent changes in the way Purchasing Cards will be operated, we will be releasing three new E-Learning Courses throughout the week.

These are:

Purchasing Cards Cardholders E-Learning [1 Hour]

This course has been designed specifically for cardholders. It covers important polices that govern the use of the card, how to check you have a proper VAT receipt, subjective codes and then how to log on and use the new Barclaycard Spend Management website.

Purchasing Cards Approvers E-Learning [1 Hour]

This course is aimed at Purchasing Card Approvers. It covers an overview of the topics covered in the Cardholder course and has an additional section where you will learn how to approve transactions on the Barclaycard Spend Management website.

Purchasing Cards E-Learning [1.5 Hours]

This course has been developed for Finance Staff working in schools that operate a Purchasing Card. It covers the full process explained in both the Cardholder and Approver courses and has an additional chapter on how to check and process Purchasing Card transactions in Star Accounts at month end.

If you are a Finance Officer that is also a Cardholder, please complete the full Purchasing Cards E-Learning course [1.5 Hours] as this will cover everything that you need to know about using Barclaycard Spend Management and how to process the transactions on Star Accounts.

All E-Learning courses are booked in the usual way on our Booking Website.

Simply select the appropriate course, complete and submit the Booking Form and you will receive a Confirmation Email with the link to the course once we have processed it.

All Finance Courses are included at no additional cost as part of your School Finance Support Package.
