Insurance Information for Schools
All School Insurances renewed on the 1st April 2014 and charges have now been raised to all local authority maintained schools.
All insurance certificates and polices can be found by following this link to the Norfolk County Council website .For general insurance queries, notification of any changes to properties or vehicles (such as building works, solar panels etc. or changes in vehicle details) please Email Liability claimsLiability claims must be advised to us immediately – they must not be acknowledged by the School at all but passed to us via Email. Following a change in legislation – failure to notify us immediately could affect our ability to defend the claim and significantly increase any costs.Motor and Property claimsAll insurance claims must be notified to the insurance team immediately, and within a maximum of 28 days – we reserve the right to refuse a claim if it is not reported within this timescale.IMPORTANT– Any claim for flood or waterleaks must be reported immediately in order for damage and costs of repair to be limited.
