New FFT ASPIRE replacing FFTLive

What's new?

Following the very successful governors' dashboards and new self-evaluation booklets provided in FFTLive last year, FFT are launching a new system next term to replace FFTLive, called FFT ASPIRE, which will provide more dashboards and further helpful and user-friendly content. (FFTLive will continue to be available, but only until the end of December.)

The new system will have many improvements and benefits over FFTLive, including:

  • Subject dashboards as well as overall school dashboards
  • Dashboard for KS5
  • New Significance indicators, green +, red -
  • Attendance tracker
  • Progress grids and scatterplots
  • Enhanced target setting features including:
    • add your own targets
    • import new pupils to be included for target setting
    • import teaching groups for customised estimates
    • bulk upload KS4 subject options for more accurate estimates
    • removal of Type A, B and D estimates, to be replaced with a sliding scale to show Average (50th percentile), High (20th percentile) or Very High (5th percentile)
    • Student Explorer "opportunities" and "alerts" within estimates area

Subscription to FFT ASPIRE:

Once you have subscribed to FFT through our Services to Schools, your subscription carries forward each year unless you ask for it to be removed. If you don't currently have a subscription to FFTLive and you wish to add this to your contract, please contact Services to Schools by email . The cost for the current financial year is still £60 for primary schools/academies and £300 for secondary schools/academies.

IMPORTANT: Your FFT Administrator

One feature of FFT ASPIRE is that the Administrator's user-account must be allocated to a named person in the school and we need to provide FFT with a list of all FFT ASPIRE Administrators before next term so that new user-accounts can be created.

ACTION REQUIRED:

If you wish to assign someone other than the Headteacher to be your FFT Administrator, eg. your Business Manager or Data Manager, please click HERE to provide the name and email address of the designated person, by Friday 18th July. If no one from your school responds by 18th July the Headteacher/Principal will be designated FFT Administrator.

Please note that access to FFT ASPIRE will initially only be possible through the named FFT Administrator. Once logged-in, the Administrator will be able to set up user-accounts for others as appropriate.

Launch of FFT ASPIRE in Norfolk in October, book your place:

Last year we had a visit from 2 FFT Directors to run three briefing sessions on their new dashboards and self-evaluation booklets. These proved very successful with more than 260 colleagues attending overall. This year we are having a return visit in October to brief Headteachers/Principals and Chairs of Governors on the new range of dashboards and new functionality in FFT ASPIRE, with delegates bringing paper copies of their dashboards in order to review their own data with expert guidance.

Places at this "launch" can be booked through the NIEAS online booking system. Early booking is highly recommended to secure a place. The course codes and dates are as follows:
