Schools Emergency Contact and Keyholder Database
The emergency contact and keyholder database is a confidential database of contact details of headteachers and other relevant school staff maintained so that the school can be contacted in the event of any emergencies or critical incidents at the evening, weekends, or in holiday periods.
As the long summer holiday is about to begin, we are asking all schools if they would review the contact details in the database to ensure the information is up to date.
We suggest that you register at least four names to ensure that someone can be contacted at any time, including holiday periods, including the headteacher and caretaker/site manager and other senior staff or governors. Please note that the information will be password protected and only be accessible to specific people at the school and the senior Children's Services officers who receive emergency and Critical Incident calls.
We would be grateful if you would ensure that details are entered before the end of this term so that contact can be made if needed over the holiday period with at least one of the named individuals. To access the site log in to My School, select the "Staff" section and then select "Emergency Contacts & Keyholders".
