Appointment forms for all new and re-appointed school governors
Please note that from 1 September 2014 all newly appointed and re-appointed governors will need to complete and sign our new appointment form - APPOINTMENT FORM GS/AF/14 which can be found at www.schools.norfolk.gov.uk/download/NCC157113.
This form now includes enrolment dates and times for the "Governance Now" training course which is the new induction course provided by Norfolk Governor Services for all school governors in Norfolk. Governors should complete this section before returning the form so that they can select a training session convenient to them. There is an expectation that all new and re-appointed governors will attend a session.
From 1 September, all new and re-appointed governors (other than those who are being co-opted during reconstitution) will have a place reserved on this course and the date and time will be confirmed in their appointment letter. Norfolk Governor Services will allocate training sessions for governors not completing the correct form.
Governors who are co-opted following reconstitution of the governing body should complete APPOINTMENT FORM GS/AF/CO/14 which can be found at www.schools.norfolk.gov.uk/download/NCC157112.
