Schools' PeopleNet password protection - additional information

Schools' PeopleNet password protection -Additional information for Governors

Further to MI sheet 172/14 Governors who don't already have NSIX accounts will need to ask their school office to add their details to the schools MIS database, in order to access Schools' PeopleNet from 15th September 2014. The details required are as follows:

  • first name
  • surname
  • date of birth – for matching purposes only
  • a 'start date'. This date can be any date prior to the governor being set up on the MIS system. This is because the ICT system requires a start date to issue an account.

A NSIX email address and log on will automatically be issued overnight. These log on details can then be used to access Schools' PeopleNet. Governors of multiple schools do not need to give their details to each individual school as the account issued would be the same one anyway.

If you forget your log in details these are sent securely via Anycomms plus on a weekly basis and will typically be accessed by the secretary or ICT co-ordinator who should be able to advise you.
