Specialist Resource Base (SRB) Update
We would like to draw your attention to current availability of KS1 Learning & Cognition places at Mile Cross Community Primary School, in addition to KS1/ 2 outreach support. Please contact the school to discuss further.
The SRBs for Speech, Language and Communication and Learning and Cognition are now able to offer whole- school outreach support to develop best practice and practical solutions, whether related to individual children, groups or whole-school approaches.
KS1/ 2 outreach support for Behaviour, Emotional & Social Difficulties is now available with KS3/4 to follow during this term.
Outreach Support from an SRB is charged at a one-off flat fee rate of £50 to cover travel expenses, the initial visit and resources required.
The Dyslexia Outreach Service is part of the Learning & Cognition specialism. It works on a wholly outreach and capacity- building model (it does not have a teaching caseload for individual pupils). It provides relevant and practical support, empowering schools to meet the needs of students with dyslexia, through developing sustainable and effective practice. The service also offers a range of training courses. Charges vary according to the service required.
Please note that Autism bases will not be offering outreach support at this time.
For further information on tailored outreach to meet your school's needs please contact your nearest appropriate SRB in the first instance. They will be happy to discuss your requirements, after which you can complete a referral form.
