Electronic Survey for Speech and Language Therapy
SPEECH AND LANGUAGE SERVICES - Please tell us what you think:
The new Children and Families Act, September 2014, makes Norfolk County Council and the Health Service responsible for arranging services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
We want to deliver high quality services and with your help, we can work together to shape the future Speech and Language Therapy services (SaLT) and put in place a service that meets the needs and get the best possible outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
We welcome your views, which we can then put together with other information we are collecting to form a picture of what the new service will look like from April 2016. The closure for completion of the survey will be 12th June 2015.
You may have already provided comment though either the brief questionnaires distributed earlier or have possibly been involved in one of the Parent and Carer Focus Groups which took place across Norfolk. However, if the survey is new to you or you would like to provide additional feedback to your earlier comments, this electronic survey will enable a more in-depth opportunity to gain a broader insight and provide the capacity to analyse the data electronically.

Your thoughts can be considered as we develop the requirements for this new SaLT Service from April 2016. This is being commissioned within the new Education Inclusion Service (Children€s Services) at Norfolk County Council and with Health Partners for the Community Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy services.
If you have any queries please telephone the SEND Team on 01603 224386.
