Enterprise For All
I am writing to invite you to attend the Enterprise For All conference taking place at the John Innes Centre, Norwich on 17th June 2015 from 08:30-16:00.
The aim of the conference is to engage Norfolk’s secondary schools and colleges with the government’s Enterprise for All agenda, to share good practice taking place across the county and to enable schools and colleges to identify activities that will take forward this work through the curriculum.
By the end of the Conference participants will:
- Have an understanding of national and local agendas, and OFSTED requirements for enterprise education in the school and college curriculum including Lord Young’s Enterprise for All and skill priorities of the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (NALEP)
- Find out about best practice in enterprise education in schools and colleges locally and nationally
- Meet a range of enterprise education and employer engagement providers to find out about services available to schools and colleges
- Plan how to take forward enterprise education in own schools and colleges
The conference is targeted at senior leaders, governors and careers and enterprise coordinators from Norfolk’s secondary schools and colleges. There will be a mixture of keynote presentations from national speakers, interactive workshops and practical sessions. There will also be a marketplace event of enterprise providers available to assist schools to identify activities to that can take forward this work.
The event is free to staff from Norfolk’s secondary schools and colleges.
