Cash collection service

Barclays have negotiated a much better deal in light of feedback from Norfolkschools with G4S – cash collection service.

The changes are:

• schools no longer require a collection once a week in term time but canreduce this to once a fortnight (19 collections a year minimum)
• Schools wishing to take the cheapest option (courier can turn up at any timeof the day) the last pickup time has been reduced from 5PM to 3:30PM to fit inbetter with the school day

This results in a cost of £218.50 excluding VAT for the minimum contract.

Larger schools can purchase 5 extra cash bags at £5.50 per collection if the 2 clothbags provided are not sufficient.

Schools will need to complete the two schedules for this service along with the directdebit mandate (as per the link below) and return to: Louise Taylor Steward

Pingit

Pingit is an electronic payment method that parent can use to pay schools via theirmobile phones. The cost of the service is £0.15 per transaction

And a one of registration fee of £250 or £50 until 1st October. The costing structurefor this service can’t be advertised on our website as Barclays have asked us not toquote pricing. Therefore any school looking at this option will contact their FSO forfurther information.
