There are currently no announced proposals from the Department of Education to change Schools Funding for 2016/17. The Local Authority is consulting with schools on reviewing two factors within the existing Schools Funding Formula, the sparsity factor and the split sites factor. As there are only two specific local changes being consulted on, the normal briefing sessions will not be held. In place of this, schools are invited to attend a Finance Surgery which are being held at key locations across the County. The dates and venues are listed below. Schools can bring along any questions they have which relate to the proposals. Appointments will be available between 2 - 4 pm. If you would like to book a appointment, please email marilyn.attwood@norfolk.gov.uk with your preferred venue and the nature of your enquiry. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate drop-in arrangements.

As the funding changes relate to two specific areas of the formula, and not the funding mechanism as a whole, attendance at the Finance Surgery will not count towards your RAG rating.
