Based on the funding allocation the DFE have allocated to schools in the current financial year, the LA are required to make a year end adjustment to schools grant allocation to ensure the grant represents the correct income for the financial year period.

Schools Finance will be using information based on schools census return's for the period October 2015 and January 2016 provided by the Business Intelligence Unit to adjust for grant received in advance or debtor provision, to transfer funding to the correct financial year from the final allocation expected in 2016/17.

The adjustments Schools Finance will be making will be calculated using the school census return and using the DFE UIFSM Calculator which the DFE released. We do not expect any school to make adjustments for year end for this grant funding.
