FFT ASPIRE 2016 subscriptions and updates

FFT ASPIRE subscriptions

The Education Achievement Service will be providing schools and academies with access to their FFT ASPIRE analyses this year at the same reduced cost as last year. There will only be a very small increase to cover the Services for Schools (s4s) cost.

2016* subscriptions are as follows:

School/Academy Phase 2016 FFT subscription per
school excluding VAT
2016 FFT subscription direct
from FFT excluding VAT
Infant / First / Primary with no Year 6 £85 £250
Primary / Junior (<= 100 pupils) £85 £250
Primary / Junior (> 100 pupils) £131 £300
Secondary (KS4 and/or KS5 data)
(including all through schools)
£615 £1250
Special / PRU £131 £300

The Services for Schools contractual arrangement is that schools and academies already subscribing to FFT will have their subscription rolled-forward, unless they log on to the Norfolk S4S website to end their subscription. Therefore if you currently subscribe you will be charged for FFT for another year unless you opt out.

* For budget purposes, a school's subscription taken in the Financial Year 2016/17 will provide you with access to FFT ASPIRE during the Academic Year 2016/17. For academies, your subscription will be rolled forward in June/July 2016 to provide you with access for the Academic Year 2016/17.

If you do not currently subscribe to FFT ASPIRE and would like to do so, please contact Chris Jackson or Dom Mingaye.

Measuring Progress in secondary schools from 2016

FFT are developing Year 7 Proof of Progress tests which aim to establish a baseline and measure progress from Year 7 onwards and are designed specifically for 'life after levels' and new reformed 9-1 GCSEs.

FFT have sent details to secondary schools and are looking for a limited number of schools to take part in September 2016. More information can be found at: www.proofofprogress.co.uk and a brochure is available at: http://images.nomoremarking.com/brochure.pdf

If you have already signed up for this, or are interested in being included please contact Chris Jackson.
