Consistent Financial Reporting guidance has now been issued for 2016/17, which states clearly that Early Years Pupil Premium should be allocated under the I01 heading. Upon requesting clarification from the Education Funding Agency in respect of 2015/16, the EFA have confirmed that the same treatment should be used for both financial years and it will therefore be necessary for Schools Finance to recode the EYPP that has been allocated to schools in 2015/16. All allocations made will be moved from the I05 (99010) code to I01 (98940) during year end by the Schools Finance team.
