Barclays new Card
To all Barclays.Net card users at schools using Barclays as the bank provider
When the new Barclays system was introduced it required the reissue of all the Barclay.Net cards. Initially the old cards were still active and could be used, however from 30 June 2016 the old Barclays.Net cards will be deactivated and must be destroyed.
To ensure you destroy the correct card, the old cards do NOT have a Star sticker on them and include '1464' in the middle of the long card number, ie **** **** 1464 **** ****.
As these cards can no longer be used from this date every Barclays.Net card user should already have received their new card. These have a Star sticker on them and include '1564' in the middle of the long card number, ie **** **** 1564 **** ****.
Any Barclays.Net card user who has not received their new card must contact Educator Solutions (see below) quoting the school name, school location number and full name (first and surname) of the card user in order for a new card to be issued.
