2016/17 Pupil Premium Allocation Update
Pupil Premium allocations for FSM Ever 6, Service Children, and Post-LAC have been updated by the DfE based on January 2016 Census data.
The previous Pupil Premium estimates shown on schools' Budget Shares have been updated over the summer holiday and schools will be able to see their updated Budget Share online, using the Budget Share Tracker from the beginning of the autumn term. Please note that in some cases there may be more than one change for a school, as there was a further correction provided by the DfE during August.
The DfE have updated the 'Key to Success' website with detailed pupil-level information that schools can access once logged in. The final data and allocations will help schools with budget planning, and to effectively target support for those pupils who have attracted Pupil Premium funding.
A final update to Pupil Premium is expected in December/January, when the DfE have updated the Looked After Children dataset. This may impact on final FSM Ever 6 allocations because pupils eligible for both LAC and FSM Pupil Premiums are only funded for the LAC Pupil Premium (LAC allocations are made via application to the Virtual School for Children in Care).
