SEN information reports

SEN Code of Practice, 6.79

Children and Families Act 2014, section 69(3)(a) - the requirement for a governing body or proprietor of every maintained school, maintained nursery school, and academy school to publish on the school's website its report containing SEN information.

Care should be taken not to misinterpret this chapter. There is a requirement for the governing body to publish an SEN policy and for the governing body, SLT and SENCo to additionally publish an SEN information report which is their annual account of the implementation of their SEN policy.

An SEN information report should be updated at least annually, earlier if a significant change occurs.
