Ofsted Inspections of Schools with a focus on Looked After Children
This term schools inspected in the Eastern Region will be asked specific questions about Looked After Children.
This builds on the previous focus which was detailed in MI sheet 97/15. As before, the information gathered will be collated and used to inform future activity and collect evidence for improving outcomes for Looked After Children regionally.
I have been given permission to share the areas included in the evidence form .
The evidence gathering will focus on the Achievement of LAC to build a bigger picture across the East of England. Consideration will also be given as to whether the school could provide a case study on good practice in terms of LAC achievement.
