Emergency Pager Discontinued
Please note that Norfolk County Council's Resilience Team (emergency planning) Duty Officer pager service is being discontinued with immediate effect.
The pager was listed in the MySchool section of the site as a resource to use if you were having problems using the Emergency School Closure system out of normal working hours.
There are known coverage issues with the pager and a recent change in mobile phone provider has rendered it obsolete.
The Resilience Team Duty Officer will still be available 24/7 by mobile phone, the number of which is available in the MySchool section of the site. This number should only be called in emergencies.
Please remove any reference to the pager (07623 837737) from your records and business continuity plan.
The Schools Financial Value Standard requires every school to have a current Business Continuity plan in place. If you do not have one please review and complete the documents on the schools website, and email businesscontinuity@norfolk.gov.uk if you need any assistance.
