Changes to health and safety training courses
The new Health and Safety training directory for 2017-18 is now published on HRInfospace.
For this year the full-day course "Premises Management 1 - General", which had become too large and unwieldly, has been split into two half-day courses: Premises Management 1 - General and Compliance and Risk Assessment. As well as making the training more manageable, this will also enable Heads to delegate the risk assessment and other premises management functions such as Legionella and contractors to different members of staff if they wish.
Also, this year, the four premises management courses: "Premises Management 1- General", "Premises Management 2 - Asbestos", "Premises Management 3 - Fire", and "Premises Management - Refresher", as well as "Compliance and Risk Assessment" are all being delivered twice per year at the West Norfolk PDC at King's Lynn.
