Management Information Sheet

We are beginning the process of recruiting and training moderators and would welcome expressions of interest from experienced teachers who have recent and relevant experience in Reception, Year 2 or Year 6, whether established moderators or new to the process.

Please could interested parties include the following details:

• Name and school
• Contact details
• Why they are interested in the role of moderator for the LA
• The recent and relevant experience they have relating to assessment and moderation in the key stage they are applying for
• Any other applicable information

All expressions of interest will be considered by a panel of lead moderators and teachers will then be informed of the recruitment process that will follow. All expressions of interest should be emailed to Julia.idiens@norfolk.gov.uk by 12:00pm on Monday 2nd October.

Moderation Evaluation Forms

All headteachers of schools that attended local authority moderation for EYFS, KS1 or KS2 will be receiving an email with a link to a Survey Monkey evaluation form. We would be grateful if you could take a few moments to respond to this as your feedback provides invaluable information to enable the further development of our processes.

Assessment Training

Over the coming weeks we will be informing you of the training relating to statutory assessment for this academic year. Below are some of the training opportunities that will be taking place. These can be booked on via the Educator Solutions website

The Achievement Service will also be running a series of collaborative assessment training events for Reception, Y2 and Y6 teachers, starting at the end of the autumn term. Further details will follow.
