Education Leadership Updates - Autumn Term 2017
The Autumn Term 2017 Education Leadership Updates have now been organised and are ready to book on to via the SLA system.
These are for Primary colleagues; the invitation to attend is also extended to Chairs of Governors. The dates, times and venues are as follows:

The agenda will include:-
- Update from Chris Snudden on the Education Services restructure and what this means for schools
- You are the data controller: Are you aware of the changes in the data protection legislation?
- Safeguarding update
- Update from John Crowley regarding changes to assessment and accountability including performance descriptors for writing
- Education Vulnerable Groups Achievement and Access Service: what is being done to reduce exclusions, including a discussion regarding managed moves in the primary sector
Special School and High School colleagues are welcome to attend any of these updates. However the Headteacher associations NASSH and NSEL will advise of their meetings this term which will have relevant content from the above included on their agendas.
