Change of Phone numbers for Education General Enquiries
New phone numbers for education general enquiries
As of Tuesday 7 December most general enquiries coming in to the education department will be dealt with by the County Council's Customer Service Centre, where trained staff will be able to give callers basic advice and information on a range of issues.
Calls from schools to individual officers in the Education Department on their direct lines can still be made as usual.
0844 800 8020 will be the number that customers can call for all general enquiries about education.
The new system will free up Education staff to deal with more complex enquiries and spend more time on their core responsibilities, meaning a better service for everyone.
Please note that some direct line numbers that you use will change from 7 December. See below.
