Changes to School Vacancy Lists

SCHOOLS VACANCY LISTS

From February 4th onwards the schools vacancy website will be updated to a more user-friendly and informative website with search and print facilities. This website is designed to make your job search as easy as possible. The website address will stay the same but the way you view vacancies will be different. The website will also be updated daily instead of weekly.

You will now be able to search for a job by, location, job reference number, job type (e.g. teaching or support staff vacancies), job category (e.g. Technician, Cleaner, Secondary teacher etc.).

We believe this website to be a step forward in making access to Norfolk's schools vacancies much easier and much more accessible. It is because of this that we have taken the decision to stop printing the high volume of paper copies. With most schools/establishments and people going 'online', there is no longer a high demand for the paper versions of the vacancy lists.

When emailing epsschoooladverts.edu@norfolk.gov.uk, with your vacancy and publication instructions, instead of specifying 'green/blue sheets/vacancy lists etc. all you need to state now is 'online only'. All other processes will stay the same.

Schools will cease to receive paper versions of the vacancy lists.

Deadlines will remain the same:

TES: Thursday 4pm for following Friday publication
EDP/Local: Friday 4pm (Lynn News Tuesday publication: Thursday 9am)
Online only: Monday 10am

Please have a look on the website for a form, which details exactly what information we need from you to advertise your post. This form will ensure a smooth process from your school to the press.

This form can either be saved or printed and then filled in as appropriate or used as a guide. Then all you need to do is email it to me at epsschooladverts.edu@norfolk.gov.uk. If you email your advert, you will receive an automated response to confirm we have received it.

I hope you will have a look at the new website, at your earliest opportunity, and utilise it to it's full potential.
