The DfES has produced a consultative document on New School Funding Arrangements to apply from April 2005.
An Education Bill is currently before Parliament, which will enable the Secretary of State to implement the changes, set out in the Five-year Strategy. The consultation paper is, therefore, about how the new arrangements will work.
The attached briefing note summarizes the proposals and lists the 35 consultation questions as Annex B.
It is proposed that the Schools Forum will produce a response to the consultation questions at their meeting on 27.4.05.
