Invitation and Programme to Summer Term Headteacher Meetings with Director of Children's Services

Summer Term 2005 Meetings for Headteachers with Director of Children's ServicesI write to remind you about this term's headteacher meetings and this letter includes a programme and links to maps as well as directions on pages 3 and 4. The meetings begin at 9.30am with refreshments on arrival at 9am. Lunch will be at approximately 12.30pm and in the afternoon there will be area NASH and SNAPP meetings. I very much hope that you will be able to join me at your local meeting.
If you still have the badge issued to you at the 2003 headteacher conference or on your induction, or some other suitable name badge I think it would be very helpful if you could wear it.

In the morning I propose to cover the items below. In the afternoon your colleagues are arranging local meetings for SNAPP and NASH meetings when you will be able to reflect further on issues raised in the morning and other matters.

An introduction by Lisa Christensen followed by an opportunity to ask questions and comment The Children's Services agenda II How are we planning to develop local working? What will the new governance arrangements look like? How will schools and local working be supported in the new organisation? Where are we in the thinking about management structures? Followed by an opportunity for feedback and alternative suggestions |
