Teaching and Learning Responsibility Payments

Since MI 109/05 was featured in the e-courier: issue 134 on 3rd June, Transition Guidance has been issued dated 27th May, 2005 and is featured on Teachernet, which includes the:

• Review of the School Staffing Structure: Guidance for Schools in England.
  
• Explanatory Notes for the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document - updated to incorporate changes introduced in 2005.
  
• Model Pay Policy for Schools is now available and incorporates changes that came into effect in 2004. NB: Please note the Norfolk Model Pay Policy will be revised in due course.
  
• Model Pay Statements for all teachers.
  
• Safeguarding guidance.
  
• Excellent Teacher Scheme guidance.
  
• Advanced Skills Teacher guidance.

Secondary Schools were briefed on Teaching and Learning Responsibility Payments on 19th May and now have the opportunity to look at this documentation in the light of that briefing.

Primary and Special schools' briefing sessions commence on 23rd June through to 12th July. Presentation slides and handouts will be made available at the briefings to help develop colleagues' understanding of all the issues involved.
