Updated guidance notes and letter detailing the requirements with respect to Fair Processing under the Date Protection Act and the passing of information to Connexions. Schools should issue the notice letter to parents of all new pupils as part of the enrolment process and re-issue to pupils at the age of 16 as the right to opt out from passing information over and above the name and address of pupils and parents to Connexions passes from parents to pupils.
