Norfolk Children's Services Child Protection Training for Designated Teachers / Head teachers

Course dates and booking form for School Year 2005 -2006

1. Child Protection Training for New Designated Teachers.
   (ACPC/Children's Services recognised course Level 1) Each School/education establishment is legally required to have a designated senior teacher/ head teacher and a deputy for child protection. They are also required to have undertaken the ACPC/Children's Services recognised course. This course is available for all new designated teachers/ head teachers and deputies. Places will be allocated to schools where NEW designated teachers have been identified. Cost £25
   
   
2. Child Protection Half Day - UPDATE Course for Designated Teachers.
   All Designated teachers who have previously undertaken the above course are required to have 'appropriate' update training every TWO years. This course should only be undertaken by those Designated teachers who have had previous recognised training 2 -3 years ago and are registered on the Children's Services (LEA) Data base as being the school's Designated person (or deputy) for Child Protection. It should not be used by new designated teachers. Cost £10
